WHO WE ARE

We are a group of parents, teachers and business consultants that heard  consistent complaint from friends and colleagues, and our own lived experience - "It's (IEPs) a lot to manage". Between scheduling meetings with the right team at the right cadence, remembering to tell the team an update for the child, seeing individual needs amongst other students/children and other priorities, acknowledging and celebrating milestones, etc., it can be a lot. We get it.

We decided to do something to lift the burden and make IEP and goal achieving fun and easy!

We understand that teachers wear many hats beyond teaching that cause significant administrative burden. Teachers want to provide the best education for each student; it’s challenging to both teach content and manage ‘the room’ in terms of individual needs. Managing IEPs is clunky and cumbersome. Some parents shared that they have chosen to go to a single provider family because of the desire to support a child and the time/energy it takes with the current system.  School counselors and teachers have minimal real-time understanding of changes with medical care, home happenings, or other things that impact a child’s readiness to learn. 

 

Our application is a connector - connecting parents, school administrators, teachers, social workers/school psychologists, and eventually external medical professionals to manage the student’s care. Our application is a full-service support tool to improve real-time transparency, ultimately improving teacher/parent experience and child outcomes.

Our application automates IEP goal management by tracking goal achievement and summarizing child interventions so teachers can refresh their perspective of ‘who’s in the class’ every day or with each class change.

Our application tracks students’ readiness to learn as an additional student insight.
